A $50,000 prize in the Missouri Lottery’s “Silver & Gold” Scratchers game was uncovered on a ticket purchased at Garfield 66, 1029 Garfield Ave., in St. Joseph.
“Silver & Gold” is a $10 Scratchers game with more than $26.5 million in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $1 million and three other second prizes of $50,000. Since the game became available in March, Missouri Lottery players have claimed more than $7.6 million of the game’s prizes.
In the last fiscal year, players in Buchanan County claimed more than $26 million in prizes from Missouri Lottery games. The county’s retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and an additional $3.7 million in appropriated Lottery funds supported educational programs in the county.
