A Missouri Lottery Scratchers player won the second of three $100,000 top prizes on a TRUCKS & BUCKS® ticket purchased at Harmon Tire Company, 101 S. Madison Ave., in Raymore.
“I was getting some gas, and something just told me to get a Scratchers ticket,” the player explained.
Upon starting to scratch off the ticket, he quickly realized he had something special.
“I was stunned when I scratched off the first line and saw the $25,000 prize,” he said. “I was kind of scared to scratch the other two lines!”
Once he did scratch the remaining lines, he was shocked to discover he had won one of the game’s $100,000 prizes.
“I had actually just had knee surgery, but I was still trying to hop around the house!” he shared of his celebratory moment.
So far, TRUCKS & BUCKS® players have won over $5.4 million in prizes playing the $5 game. Over $2.8 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including one more top prize of $100,000.
Through Aug. 14, players who enter a TRUCKS & BUCKS® Scratchers ticket into their My Lottery® Players Club account will automatically be entered into the “Truckin’ in Missouri” second-chance promotion for a chance to win one of three grand prize Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew® trucks or one of 15 second-place prizes of $1,000 taxes paid.
In FY22, players in Cass County won more than $17.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
