Molotteryblog.com Halloween Costume Contest Rules

1. 1. Only photographs for the 2009 Halloween Costume Photo Contest will be considered. Each photo must be accompanied by your name, e-mail address, costume name, mailing address, phone number, the name of the costume, costume description (100 words or less) and confirmation of legal statements. The five photos that best capture the judges' eyes (while following the official rules) will win.
2. All photos must be in sharp focus. Only digital photographs will be accepted and must be e-mailed in a .GIF or .JPG format to captainlotto@molottery.com. (See Rule #6.) Photos cannot be larger than 1MB.
3. The main focus of the photograph must be on the costume.
4. Photos submitted must be original to the submitting photographer.
5. Photographs and contest entry information can be e-mailed beginning Oct. 19, 2009, to captainlotto@molottery.com. They must arrive at that address no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, to be eligible.  Winners will be announced the week of Nov. 16, 2009.
6. Multiple entries from an individual photographer are eligible; however each individual entry must be submitted individually with all information to accompany it.
7. The Missouri Lottery is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, destroyed or misdirected contest entries.
8. All entrants AND the individual(s) photographed with costumes must be 18 years or older! Winners may be required to submit proof of age (i.e., driver's license).
9. Five photographs will be selected as winners to receive Molottery.com prize packages including a flash drive, CD case, mouse pad, T-shirt, stress ball, backpack and $50 worth of Scratchers tickets.
10. No nudity, foul language or otherwise offensive images within photos are considered admissible.
11. 
    An entrant may win more than one prize in the contest; however a photograph/costume entry may not win more than one prize in this contest (i.e., a person might enter photos of two different costumes, and he or she could win a prize for both photos.  Two photos of the same costume can not both win.)
12. Winners will be notified by e-mail or by postal mail within the month of November 2009.  Winners and winning photographs will also be posted on Molotteryblog.com.
13. Photos become the property of the Missouri Lottery, which will have the right, without further compensation (other than the prize advertised) or notification, to use them in any Lottery publication, game, media, promotion or Web site.
14. The Missouri Lottery reserves the right to publish winners' names, hometowns and/or photographs for publicity purposes without any claim for broadcasting, Internet, print, other rights or further compensation.

15. Prizes will be mailed to the winners at the mailing address that accompanies this entry.
16. By submitting the contest entry form, each promotion entrant confirms that he or she has received permission from the individual(s) appearing in their photograph to enter this photo into the Missouri Lottery's 2009 Halloween Costume Photo Contest. The individual(s) in the entrant's photograph has also given his/her consent to the reproduction, publication, distribution or other use by the Missouri Lottery, his or her successors and assigns, of the entrant's photograph, name and likeness.
17. All promotion entrants must release the Missouri Lottery, its employees and agents, successor and assigns, from any and all claims which they may have arising out of any use of their photograph, name and likeness. Additionally, entrants confirm that they are the owner of all rights, including copyright of their entry photos and that they have read and agreed to the rules of the contest.
