2013 Stars of the Classroom - St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Missouri Lottery have announced a partnership for the 2013 season that will recognize and showcase excellence in Missouri education. The new "Stars of the Classroom" program will feature one educator a month who has demonstrated excellence in education.

The selected educator will be honored for their work in the classroom with a special pre-game ceremony at a Cardinals home game, VIP tickets to the game for their family and an opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

2013 Stars of the Classroom - Kansas City Royals

Stars of the Classroom presented by the Missouri Lottery

Throughout the 2013 season, the Kansas City Royals will join the Missouri Lottery to honor outstanding educators through the Lottery's "Stars of the Classroom" recognition program. Prior to six Royals home games, the Missouri Lottery and the Royals will celebrate the achievements of top educators in the metro area.

The Royals will work in partnership with local school districts to select recipients for the "Star of the Classroom" award. Each teacher will receive four tickets to the game and a parking pass, as well as being presented a game-used baseball in a special presentation prior to the game.
